It was a cloudy afternoon when i left Manila on November 24, 2008. I was quite worried about my trip back home. I thought it will be a disturbing flight but thank God it wasn’t. Half way of our travel, i took my camera from my bag, getting ready to take some snaps of Bacolod’s view from above. When the Pilot announced that were approaching Bacolod for landing, I sat still and waited for a clear view of Bacolod as we approach the City of Smiles. After several minutes, were finally on top of Bacolod making our final turn. I turned on my camera and took some shots. I was amazed by the view of Bacolod. Its vast natural land scape is very beautiful and the sugarcanes look like a carpet neatly placed on the city skirts. Bacolod from above looks very wonderful, I’m sure Angels up there will surely smile as they look down and see Bacolod growing gracefully and beautifully.
Here are the pictures i took.

Bacolod is Developing slower than its neighboring Progressive Cities like Ilo-ilo City and Cebu City, But The only one thing Bacolod has when compared to these Cities is that, Bacolod is developed Sustainably and Comprehensively , I mean with intense planning, Courtesy of the country’s top Urban Planners, Real Estate Consultants, and Engineers, Just observed how Ayala Developed its 200- hectare Property? Soon It will be Connected to the Proposed Outer circumferential road which its connected from Silay to Bacolod City. And how Strategically our New City Hall is located. If we haven’t transfer of City Hall/Government Center, Im sure for the next 3 to 6 years, Development and Congestion of Commercial Establishment will just center around the excising City Hall. Now, look whats happening There is a proposed Mall just Beside the new Government Center, There an ongoing Construction of Condominium Projects with in and near the vicinity. The Eastern side of Bacolod is Developing. There is an existing Lupue’s Department store and the new constructed Save More Department Store, and Hotel, Food Chains, such as Joliibee and Other news is that .. Im not sure yet .. the New Araneta Center Will be constructed in the old Bacolod-Murcia Sugar Central.. time will tell
